Eleonora's wardrobe was born from a completely personal project aimed at spreading a culture of sustainable shopping with the aim of not wasting the resources that led to the creation of garments, and accessories etc ...

Pleased to meet you, I am Eleonora the founder of this website and I have a completely different job from the fashion and fashion sector: I am an executive in a company that deals with consulting for medium / large companies and I work in the so-called Financial Services, i.e. for clients banking, insurance etc ...

The creation of this website therefore certainly does not derive from my work, but in the end it has to do with my work. Often in these 10 years of career I have found myself touring Italy for work reaching my clients and therefore I was able to attend various Italian and European cities and dedicate myself to shopping in my free time. I remember in Florence the San Lorenzo market, in Rome via Frattina, Cola di Rienzo, Condotti, Via del Corso, in Milan Via Torino, Corso Vittorio Emanuele, in Turin Piazza San Carlo, Via Lagrange, Piazza Carlo Felice and so on Bologna , Treviso, Verona, Athens, Bratislava, Amsterdam etc .. etc ...

In short, fashion has been the constant in my free time, but over time I have always realized that I am pursuing an unsustainable shopping style. Often I had garments in the closet worn very few times or even only washed and placed in the closet without ever wearing them. This led me to think that I am adopting an unsustainable and in the long run unethical purchasing style. I started wondering if it made sense to buy so much and how it is possible that new or semi-new garments can be thrown away with the relative waste of resources that companies have used to produce them.

From these reflections the project of "Eleonora's wardrobe" was born to give a second life to my personal selection of unworn garments, to promote sustainable and ethical shopping and let's face it convenient.
